The Grand Pavilion is located just one mile down the street where you can eat and shop. Take a short drive to downtown Isle of Palms less than five miles away for additional dining and shopping. Make sure to visit downtown Charleston during your stay, just 17 miles away, where you can take tours, try the local cuisine, and shop! The Crabpot Players (four miles away) is a performing arts theater and they perform unique plays that will enchant everybody!

This condo is nice but a little dated with some maintenance issues, like doors peeling and rusting. Some things I noted while staying: Coffee pot had a small hole in the bottom, and molded coffee grounds left in it, mold covering shower head in master bedroom, washing machine full of mold and mildew, did not receive pool fobs with welcome packet and had to call to get them, unable to connect to internet. When I could get ahold of someone, they were efficient to respond (Internet, coffee pot, pool fobs). I found dirty clothes between the bed and night stand. Also, I have never stayed at a beach side condo that didn't provide beach towels for the guests. I cleaned all the mold with bleach myself and after that, the condo was comfortable. Very nice condo with a lovely beach view. Bed was comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. Would have appreciated some beach chairs as other rentals I have stayed at had them available. Overall a nice and comfortable apt, with a great view of the beach and a nice balcony. Two issues which should be addressed: first the twin beds in the small bedroom may work for kids but were really too small and uncomfortable for our 2 adults sons. PROS: great location (do not stay anywhere except Wild Dunes if coming to IOP)
Great ocean view. Kitchen well-stocked. Master bathroom quite spacious. Nicely furnished, but a bit worn.
CONS: internet sucks!! If you are planning on doing any work while here, forget it. Condo initial cleaning was a bit hit or miss...stained sheets in master, left empty water bottles, left a used rag...not what you want to see during Covid.

We did have a few issues upon check in with the access code to enter the unit. A call to the technican solved the issue pretty quickly. We also had issues accessing the wi-fi and it did take about 1.5 days to gain access however we did finally get the correct "network" and password information.

The WiFi in this unit is currently provided by AT&T! Due to this unit's incredible oceanfront location, WiFi may become a little unsteady during times of high wind, such as storms. While this is not a common occurrence, our wonderful 24-hour maintenance team will be able to assist you with any potential issues that may arise.

There is a community pool! Because it is not located at this property, it will not show in the virtual tour. However, you can view the pool in listing photos 24, 25, and 26.

This rental does not grant access to the private resort amenities. Wild Dunes' golf courses are open to the public, you just need to book a tee time before you go. You are also able to access any restaurants, stores, and spas within Wild Dunes (appointments may be required).
