We just stayed here for the fourth time. The house is clean, spacious, comfortably furnished, and well-supplied, and the cable TV is a bonus. The heat and hot water worked well. The kitchen is well-equipped but you'll need to bring all the basics like salt & pepper and cooking oil.
We especially like the location -- very close to the beach, and walking distance from the grocery store, restaurants, and coffee shops (especially Cafe Paname). The only downside is some traffic noise from Palm Blvd.
There is a sheltered place to store bicycles, easily accessible but out of sight. Our dog can safely stay out on the porch without being able to escape into the street.
We were fortunate that the warm December weather allowed us to walk around and see all the Christmas decorations.

The weather was perfect. The house was very conveniently located. It is a very short, easy walk to the beach. The house had two beach chairs that we used and appreciated since we were not aware they would be available. If you are looking for fancy, this is not the place for you. It had the essentials but nothing more than that. As an example, there were 8 dinner plates. If you used them for breakfast, you had to do dishes before dinner. Everyone gets one bath towel for the week. You need to be aware that you need to bring a lot to have adequate supplies. On the other hand, we had a maintenance issue and the maintenance crew came very quickly and took care of it. All in all we had a great trip and the house met our needs. It was clean and a great place for the dog.

We had a lovely stay at this Isle of Palms beach house and found that the location truly can’t be beat. It was just steps from the sand and close to all the coastal charm you’d want. The fact that it was dog-friendly made it even more ideal for our family getaway.

The home itself was thoughtfully furnished and met all of our needs. Bedrooms were comfortable, and the bathrooms were functional and clean. The screened-in porch was a standout feature, offering a peaceful retreat from the ever-present summer mosquitoes and definitely a bonus in the Lowcountry humidity!

The kitchen was stocked with the basics for cooking, which worked fine for simple meals, but a refresh or update in that area would really elevate the space. Our only real concern was the lack of a fenced yard with the house being so close to Palm Blvd (which sees a lot of car traffic), a secure outdoor space for pets would have provided peace of mind.

Overall, this home was a great fit for a relaxed beach vacation, and we’d happily return, especially if future updates include a few more dog-friendly safety features.

Overall, a good experience. We have rented properties through Island Realty in the past. Check-In procedures were seamless as always. The property was pretty close to the description on the website. The only negative remark I would have is that the House/Property could have been a lot cleaner. The next time we rent I will bring this to their attention after checking in and reviewing the House/Property. Best Restaurant on the Island was the Acme Low Country Kitchen. Food was excellent!!

Nice family vacation home in a fantastic location! Our family very much enjoyed our stay in this nice, clean, spacious home! The house was a short, easy walk to the beach as well as local restaurants and shops. A good grocery store was also only a few minutes drive away. We enjoyed visiting the beautiful Isle of Palms area as well as downtown Charleston, Sullivan’s Island, Mount Pleasant, and Fort Moultrie which were each conveniently located within a 30 minute drive or less. The property management company was also great to work with, provided helpful information, communicated well, and had an office closeby incase needs arose. We would definitely stay in this home again and only wish we would have extended our trip longer!

This home was great for 6 of us for a long weekend. The neighborhood is super cute and the proximity to the beach (2 blocks) and coffee/restaurants was amazing! We appreciated the beach cart provided as well to help lug items to the beach. The home overall needs an update including the furniture.

This was our third year in a row to rent this property. The first year was for our son’s wedding and we found out that the property was “Pet Friendly”. Since our dog is truly apart of our family, we’ve been bringing the whole family each time! We trailer down our golf cart, park the truck and trailer, and go everywhere on the golf cart (one of our favorite things to do). The property is conveniently located and there is golf cart parking at the nearest beach entry...which is much less crowded. We like sitting on the screen-in porch, drinking coffee in the morning, and grilling something in the evening with a glass of wine. The living room is cozy and the kitchen and dining room has plenty of space for our entire family. We’ve recently decided to make Isle of Palms a “Family Tradition” each year and making Island Realty apart of our extended family! We look forward to our next visit!

This house is in a great location! It is two blocks from the beach, 4 blocks from the windjammer and other restaurants and shopping. The area of the beach this is closest to is much less crowded than further down toward the public parking areas. The house was spacious and their porches were great for sitting!

The house is actually on Palm Boulevard but faces 9th Avenue. It is very close to the beach, and also walking distance from a bakery/coffee shop, a well-stocked grocery store, and other shops and restaurants. Everything is very clean, and the kitchen is well-equipped with cookware and dishes. The layout and furnishings are spacious and nice, and the mature trees keep the house cool. It's also a safe and welcoming place for our dog. This is our second stay at this house and we'd be happy to stay there again.

Loved the location of this home. Close to shopping, dining and the beach. The lack of yard space wasn't a problem for the dog because of the porches and short walk to the beach. The kitchen could use more forks but is otherwise well stocked with lots of room for everyone to hang out. Our daughter enjoyed walking to get Dole whip in the evenings and the dog loved sunrises on the beach. We didn't need a golf cart this time because of how close we were to the restaurants and shopping. Would stay here again.

We stayed here for 3 months this winter and it was marvelous. The house is an easy walk to the beach and has a view of the marsh for sunsets. It is clean, well furnished, and very comfortable. It is close to the shopping center and center of town. No negatives. Thank you to the owners.

We are always searching for pet friendly properties and this one is excellent. It is a very comfortable house in a lovely neighborhood where people greet you on the street and the beach and there are lots of dogs. It is an easy walk to town. Group of old friends looking for an easy place a block from the beach and driving distance to some incredible golf courses (Wild Dunes and anything on Kiawah). This place was exactly what we needed. It's not going to wow you with amenities but it was clean, very fairly priced and the location was incredible. The beach is perfect, maybe a 2min walk and there is an awesome concert venue right there we saw a great show at. Overall would 100% go back, and plan to next year.

The house had everything we needed. Nice spacious rooms for all eight of us. A large kitchen with everything we needed. Be sure to bring paper coffee filters because there is no K-cup coffee maker. I hope everyone who stays here has as great of a time as we did.

The house has lots of space and is nicely furnished and clean. The inside of the fridge and microwave were spotless, which is not always the case in a rental! It is a very short walk to the beach, and we could even hear the ocean one night when the waves were high. The house is shaded by mature trees which would be really nice on hot summer days. The central heat/AC worked well and quietly. The location is walking distance to the central business district, but the downside is the nearly constant traffic noise on Palm Boulevard (though it does quiet down at night). We could hear live music from the main beach bar on Halloween, but they fortunately shut it down at 10. We enjoyed being able to walk to the beach and to the coffee shop. Our dog came with us to IOP, and though the yard was not fenced, we could close the gate and leave her safely outside, on and under the porches (which are also nice and spacious).

We’ve never had such an easy experience renting a vacation property! From sending the request to changing our dates to check in and check out, it was all so easy! The number of amenities provided made it convenient to just show up. The house was the perfect size for our family. Beach access was a short walk up the street as well as walking to restaurants/shops. We love the pizza at Luke and Ollie’s! Our dogs enjoyed the screened porch and made some friends next door! This is the perfect place to relax!

This rental is great for one family. The layout of the house is wonderful and we loved the screened in porch. The house is in good shape and offers multiple seating areas. I needed overflow housing for my 20s-30s adult nieces and nephews visiting for Thanksgiving. They had all been to IOP before when visiting me, so they knew the area well. This home was perfectly located,,..10 minutes to my home, and easy walking to the beach, restaurants and bars. The home housed everyone comfortably with room to spread out for playing games. The home is well-appointed with everything needed for a week’s stay!
